Have you ever felt that you hit a wall when you need to accomplish something and you become frustrated? I know I did. I occasionally experienced it. Being a Law of Attraction practitioner, I always write list of things that I want to accomplish daily. For example my today’s list is (in particular order):
- Find and hire a programmer through Elance.
- Revise and optimize one of my landing pages.
- Revise and optimize my ebook.
- Write a post about free traffic generation for my blog.
- And some other miscellaneous stuffs.
However, although I’ve written my goals for the day, sometimes I still felt overwhelm. So I also wrote the reasons why I had to accomplish those goals. But still, although knowing the reasons why I had to do it, my creative juices didn’t flow.
When that happened, I stopped doing my list. I shifted my attention to something relaxing. For me, it’s playing with my 14-month old boy. Oh boy, it’s really stress reliever!
After a period of that happy time, I always felt energize and creative juices flowing into my brain. That’s why I write this post and share it with you.
So I want to point out to you: solve problem from distance.
Whenever you hit a wall and get frustrated:
- Stop doing whatever you’re doing.
- Relax yourself and shift your attention. You can try:
- Meditation.
- Listening to relaxation audio.
- Doing your hobby or whatever you’re fond of (Like I played with my son).
- After you’re relax and creative juices flowing inside you, you can break that wall easily.
Here are what my friends do solve their problems from distance:
- Cornel
- I put everything down.. go out and refresh myself to do something I like, eg. find friends and chit chat, go get some books from bookstore, eat ice cream..
- I watch DVD.. or series movie, eg. the apprentice, lost, prison break, desparate housewife, etc.
- I sit down and think quietly.. ask question myself.
- I go sleep.. hoho3x..
- Raymond
I usually do some house work such as wash the aquarium, gardening, sweep and mop the floor. I need to get these work done anyway. So I choose to do it when I really don’t know what to do or stuck with my work.
Wow, Raymond, you’re more than welcomed to come to my home to relieve some more stress!
- Annie
I am a music lover and I listen to music all the time (ask Alicia and them about banging on my office door forever because I had my headphones up too loud to hear anyone) – lately, when I am feeling stressed out or overwhelmed, I like getting on YouTube and looking up concert footage of some of my favorite bands and artists. Watching that sort of thing, and especially finding a new rare bit I haven’t seen before, really cheers me up and gets me moving again.
- Ben
For me i love to work out in the gym building my dream physique and most importantly keep fit and relieve stress at the same time ( Kill 2 birds with 1 stone ) , combine that recently with running ard 5-6km 3 times per week really keeps me more focus on the things that i love to do. However, i am still recovering from an accident that happened to me last month… so no running only gyming at my own risk ( I can\’t stay still at all ). Other that i normally listen to music, read books ( Lots of them ), surf sites ( hehe ), and yah youtube.
Let’s share your experiences, too! Post in comments what you do to break a wall

Hi Aldian,
It is fun to know your daily list.
My technique for reducing stress is to exercise. I joke almost everyday and like to pull the bar. If I got bored during the day, I play with my dogs and clean my house like Raymond does.
Best regards,
