Well, everyone wants to be happy. No exception. Even the lowest criminal and drug addict desire to be happy. However, it is usually the means to get satisfaction which is the problem. People should know first what will really, actually make them happy and not just engage in activities whimsically. Society tells us that such and such will give us happiness and continue on pushing us to hedonistic lifestyles but in the end, we are still longing for something deeper to really satisfy us, completely. There is still this emptiness inside saying this isn't "it" yet. So to say that just to do what you enjoy doing would be fatal. Just like the criminal really enjoys stealing or other degrading stuff and what to speak of the drug addict who enjoys getting wasted. They just do what they enjoy doing but at the end of the story, it'll be backlash on them and everyone knows its something not acceptable and actually leads to the disruption of those people and society at large. So, therefore, what should be the aim, is for people to first know what will really make them happy, something that is real and is lasting.
