Opening your mind to new ideas and Creative Thought processes is a big leap of faith and can change core belief. I know having blind faith and believing in the unseen is a big pill to swallow for most. A great example of faith is your belief that the sun will rise tomorrow you don’t know how, but you do know it will.

When people are not totally able to see clearly or understand the Science of the Law of Attraction, they are quick to say it doesn’t work. Instead of desiring and allowing the process to work, people let doubt slip in and take over their thought process. Contrary to belief, there is no scientific evidence that the Law of Attraction actually works, it’s about having faith. Be decisive and establish that you want change in your life and that may mean leaving behind core beliefs such as: I’m not good enough, I’m not worthy, They won’t let me because, I’m to short/tall, my mother/father etc. told me that it was wrong, you don’t have enough experience, and of course, you have to wait your turn or time. Don’t let any of these excuses or old beliefs stop you, reprogram yourself start by getting a clear mental picture of where you are now. Then move forward by asking pertinent questions like the following:

• What stops me form having my desire?
• What additional resources might I need?
• Am I visualizing?
• Am I feeling the essence of what I want?
• Am I being truthful and honest with myself?

These questions will help you think clear, specific, focused thoughts and with willpower, bring your desire into material form.

Use a journal to record your thoughts, desires, and answers. Write down old childhood beliefs and compare them with your new ones are they still relevant now? Let the journal become your blueprint for success and place to document your progress during the day.

Ponder:

1. Act now.
2. What are you grateful for?
3. See yourself free of any mental limitations.
4. Are you aligned with your desire?
5. What makes you feel euphoric?

Affirmation:

There is no lack or limitations in my life.

And now, let’s review: The Law of Attraction

1. Decide what you want.
2. State what you desire in the positive with enough emotion to make it feel physically real.
3. Think repeatedly during the day about your desire and visualize it.
4. Realign your thinking, using your willpower to get started.
5. Mentally and physically sync with whatever you desire to the point of manifestation.
6. Understand all possibilities are only limited by the thoughts in your mind.
7. Start pretending, also known as “Acting as If”.
8. Be specific: include the size, shape, color, texture and when you want your desire.
9. Use affirmations and empowering songs to change old beliefs until the new, positive ones become a habit.
10. Do no give it your attention/point of focus to any situation or experience that you don’t want. Simply put, do not entertain the thought.
11. Post pictures of your dreams, desires, and goals everywhere and visualize being in possession of them.
12. Believe, have faith, be confident, speak in the positive, and take personal responsibility.
13. Keep a journal; write specific details about your desire.
14. Model someone who has the positive traits you desire.
15. Stay focused and on point. Read, review, reprogram.
16. Start small, gain confidence in creating and manifesting.
17. Become consciously aware of you and your surroundings.
18. Believe and know that you are entitled to wealth, health, success and abundance. Expect that it will yours.
19. Acknowledge that you are a mental magnet and will attract to you everything you are thinking and feeling.
20. Enjoy every minute of the process, in the now.

Now let us analyze ourselves. First and foremost, we accept our situation. We accept that life is what God gives us to live. We are destined to a life of drudgery. Those rich and famous are blessed by God. Don’t most of us think the way I have described? Maybe there are some variations. There may have been moments in your life when you were on a song. When you won the first prize in elocution, maybe? Or when you won the three legged race. But theses moments of magic did not last. Fleeting and momentary. That’s what the big moments felt like.

Now, here is the formula. Don’t let the glorious moments slip by. Make it a habit to be a winner. In everything. Stretch your moments of glory. Till you are living the good moments all the while. Winning should become a habit with you. Remember, the universe is waiting all this while to multiply and magnify your moments of glory. More you win, more the opportunities will come your way to enhance your experience.

Reflect on the moments that have given you a high. Relive these experiences and make winning a habit. Watch the universe helping and guiding you along the way.

We hardly use a fraction of the talent, ability and power which we are endowed with. Unfortunately, we always think what is achievable and then fall short of it. We are limited by our thoughts, our ambition and by ourselves. And we blame our circumstances for everything.

Let me give you an example of Helen Keller. She was born deaf, mute and blind. She could have succumbed to her situation and no one would have blamed her. But what did she do? She rose way beyond the reality. She realized that reality is but her thoughts. And the rest is history. When you read about the great discoverers in the history of mankind, you would see that most have gone beyond the trodden path. Many have undergone hardships and deprivation, I agree. But they have succeeded.

Here we are, with no such lofty ambitions. Many of us merely want a nice home or a big sedan. And what is it we discover? We are unable to covert even these small desires into reality.

The reason why we are unable to succeed is because we remain under the influence of what is possible. Again, if Helen Keller had thought what was possible, she would have been a failure. Neil Armstrong would never have conquered Everest if he had looked for precedence.

So what do we learn from these great people? That we are limited by our thoughts. We can only reach the heights we set ourselves to climb. The law of attraction is all about this. Nothing is ever achieved unless we plan to achieve it. The higher we climb, the nearer we are to the sky. Each step towards our personal Everest is a step closer to our goal. And the universe connives to help. You will be surprised how unknown people will come forward to help, circumstances would be created and matter would move to guide you on your way. This is sheer magic at its best.

That’s where putting your weight behind your thoughts comes in. Once you have decided on what you want, you should put all your might to achieve it. The universe will multiply your efforts a thousand times and reflect it back to you. This is the law of attraction’s essence.

You may think from the above statements that it would be a monumental task to achieve this concentration. And let me tell you, it couldn’t be easier. The crux of the idea is to be positive and device ways to remain in this positive frame of mind. The universe and the law of attraction would do the rest. Just get on to the path of success and start driving towards your destination. The rest would be taken care of by nature. As you move down the road to success, events and situations would be created which would accelerate and speed you up towards your true destiny. You have to just focus on your destination. Rest would be taken care of.

Once you have made up your mind and have the big picture in your mind, go for it. Don’t hesitate. Don’t look around. Go right ahead with the gas pedal hitting the floor.

It looks so simple. Yet most of us flounder on the way. As soon as we see the first bump on the road, we lose heart and change direction. And when we meander all over the place, we wonder how we got there in the first place.

The law of attraction is universal. If you have positive thoughts they would get absorbed by the universe and rebound back manifold. The same goes for negative thoughts. Remember, the universe is neutral. Like a mirror. If you send out negative signals, you will see negativity reflected around you. So you have to be careful. Always think positively. The more you think positively, more positive things will happen to you. And it will all add up.

And focus is all important. Imagine your mind to be a lens. When you hold the lens against the light, what happens? It collects all the dispersed light and points it at one specific point. And then it burns the patch you are holding the lens on. Don’t you think the same is happening to your thoughts? Indeed it is. The more focused you are, more likely you will set a scorching pace towards success. Get rid of negativity. It disperses your energy. Get hold of positive thoughts by the scruff of the neck and keep twisting till the essence is realized.

Now, this is a very profound thought. Human beings like us perceive things at different levels. Most of us take a cue from what we can see visually. We read that so and so has become rich by working hard and we think, the secret lies in working hard. Some book says one should buy shares to become rich. We go and buy shares and burn our fingers and feel bitter about it for the rest of our lives. What I want to tell these people is that if you do the same things again and again, you get the same results, again and again.

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill said, “An educated person is not necessarily a person with an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated person is a person who has so developed the faculties of their mind, that they can develop anything or acquires anything that they want, or it’s equivalent, without violating the rights of others.” What we want to do is start to understand these faculties. Perception, the will, reason, imagination, intuition and memory. These are higher faculties. So, through imagination we want to build a picture of what we want.

Now, when you build a picture, make it really big. Nothing like you has ever seen before. Let your imagination fly. And leave the baggage of your past behind and focus on the future. What will happen if you only look in the rear view mirror when you drive? I am sure you would crash in no time. But we keep looking into the rear view mirror while driving through our lives! No doubt we crash out fast and furious.

Forget the past. Put it behind you. Create a truly big picture of your future life. Don’t hold yourself back. Use all your higher faculties. Imagination, intuition. Give them a free play. Give your thoughts a free rein. And then watch the fun.

The only way to restore the equilibrium of nature is to think our way into prosperity. There is a difference between thinking about prosperity as a distant dream and thinking and living in abundance in the present moment. Think you are already rich or in love or whatever you wish to be and it will turn into reality.

I can hear you say, “It is very easy to tell others to start living their dreams. Here I am up to my neck in debt and creditors breathing down my neck. How do you expect me to think, even for a moment, that I am rich and prosperous? More than anything, I only feel despair.” Let me tell you this. Frankly, I also felt the same. But this is where the law of attraction comes into force. Can’t you see that more you think of debt, more you are going to sink into it? The universe is neutral. If you send positive signals out into space, they get magnified and come back with renewed energy and force. When you are thinking about debt, the universe magnifies and reinforces debt. You are forcing nature to do your bidding.

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill says, “Decide what you want, write it on a card, carry the card with you, read it as often as possible every day, at least every morning when you get up and before you to go to bed at night.” This is as good an advice as any. You have to break out of the old mold. Just imagine your thoughts of debt and misery as old clothes and throw them away. Create a powerful mental image in your mind of throwing the old clothes far away and then don new clothes, nice and silky, full of positive energy. Carry this spanking new picture with you wherever you go. I promise that your life would be transformed magically.

Show gratitude for the things you already have. If you can’t think of anything, just think of the people who have even less. “I prayed for shoes, till I saw a man without legs.” ~ Anonymous. What kind of thoughts come to your mind when you visualize a man without legs? A feeling of true gratitude. You feel blessed by God. It is not necessary that you have to feel gratitude only in such instances .You can feel gratitude for the small mercies of life.

It used to be a practice in most of the households to thank God before supper. I don’t know if the practice is still prevalent today, but it is a powerful thought. Small gestures of gratitude accumulates to form a tremendous force. Together, they have the potential to transform your world.

Gratitude is something one feels for what happens to them. You may get promoted and feel gratitude. But what is truly powerful is thanking in advance for events which are likely to occur in future. By this we send a powerful signal to the universe that we completely believe in what is going to happen in the future. Actually we give thanks as if it has already occurred. This reinforces our belief and the universe responds in a more powerful way.

Thanking in advance is therefore a fine way to let the universe know that you are experiencing the material events before its occurrence. You are in fact forcing nature to create the events and hastening the process. Gratitude likewise is the ultimate feeling which propels the universe to give shape to your thoughts. With a gesture of gratitude you are ensuring safe passage through the process of transformation. You need not search for reasons to feel grateful. Everyday, you can show your gratitude, by simply thanking God or nature during each meal time and while going to bed.
