If you watched The Secret, you must have known that Jack Canfield also visualized this way. He put the “check” on the ceiling above his bed where he could see the check every day and reminded him of his goal.

One common problem people encounter during visualization, “If I am not rich and successful now, how can I lie to myself and imagine that I am rich and successful?” I must tell you that visualization works regardless of your current reality. This is because your sub-conscious mind cannot tell the difference between reality and your imagination.

Simple Visualization Exercise

Let’s do this simple exercise for you to experience visualization and feel it yourself.

Close your eyes. Now think about a big yellow lemon. You take it out from your fridge. It feels cold. Peel the lemon. Hmm… Its juice squirts on your hand. Taste the peeled lemon with your tongue. What does it taste? Yuck, very sour.

Do you feel your saliva in your mouth? It tastes sour? How come? It’s only in your imagination. You don’t even actually taste it.

That’s, my friend, the power of visualization! And you just did one of visualization techniques, internalizing. It means seeing images in your mind’s eye.

Many of you are visual people. That is why you may make statements like, “I see what you are saying”. You need an image to associate with. If I asked you to tell me what your house looks like, the first thing that pops into your mind is an image of your house.

Fake It Until You Make It

Now let’s go back to the one common problem that people encounter during visualization, “If I am not rich and successful now, how can I lie to myself and imagine that I am rich and successful?”

What’s the one common trait of rich and successful people, namely millionaires? They have millions of dollars, right? They often receive payment of millions dollars check or wire transfer.

So why don’t you write yourself a million dollar check? Ten million dollar check? Or even one hundred million dollar check? Then visualize yourself that you receive that check monthly. Visualize how happy you are when you receive that check. Visualize what you can buy with that money. Visualize what you can provide to your family with that money.

Yes, fake it until you make it is a very powerful concept.

Jack Canfield suggested that we pay attention to our body. Ask the question of yourself: If you get a contracted, tight, tense feeling, maybe it is time to quit. If you get a relaxed, expansive feeling, keep going.

When studying quantum particles (the smallest observable unit of matter), these scientists discovered that such particles behave in accordance with the person conducting the experiment. It the scientists “predict” that quantum particles behave in a certain way, they do. And yet, if the scientists “predict” that quantum particles behave in another way, they do. It is the “observer” that dictates the outcome of the experiment!

What does all this mean for us normal people? Well actually, these scientific experiments has far reaching implications for us as our world is made up of these same quantum particles! In this case, we are the “observer” the director and hence the creator of our reality, our world and our experience.

So, be careful of what you think about! for example, have you thoughts ever begun with the following phrases:

I’m frustrated that…

I can’t figure out …

I’m worried that…

I should be able to… but I can’t…

Why am I having so much trouble?

The Law of Attraction indifferent to the words preceding your thought. Whatever you think about you will attract into your life. When you think “I don’t understand why bad things always happen to me?”, you are “attracting” bad things into your life. When you think “I want to get out of debt”, you are attracting more debt into your life. When you think “I’m worried I will get sick”, you are attracting sickness into your life! The Law of Attraction brings about what you focus on even if it is not what you want. Get it?

If you understand this principle, here are some examples of how to make the law of attraction work to support you rather than to act against you. Try observing your thoughts and changing your thinking in the following way:

Bob Proctor

Bob Proctor is an author, lecturer, counselor, business consultant, entrepreneur, and teacher preaching the gospel of positive thinking, self-motivation and maximizing human potential. Opening your mind to new ideas and Creative Thought processes is a big leap of faith and can change core belief. I know having blind faith and believing in the unseen is a big pill to swallow for most. A great example of faith is your belief that the sun will rise tomorrow you don’t know how, but you do know it will.

When people are not totally able to see clearly or understand the Science of the Law of Attraction, they are quick to say it doesn’t work. Instead of desiring and allowing the process to work, people let doubt slip in and take over their thought process. • Am I feeling the essence of what I want?
• Am I being truthful and honest with myself?

These questions will help you think clear, specific, focused thoughts and with willpower, bring your desire into material form.

Use a journal to record your thoughts, desires, and answers. Write down old childhood beliefs and compare them with your new ones are they still relevant now? Let the journal become your blueprint for success and place to document your progress during the day.

Ponder:

1. Act now.
2. What are you grateful for?
3. See yourself free of any mental limitations.
4. Are you aligned with your desire?
5. What makes you feel euphoric?

Affirmation:

There is no lack or limitations in my life.

And now, let’s review: The Law of Attraction

1. Decide what you want.
2. State what you desire in the positive with enough emotion to make it feel physically real.
3. Think repeatedly during the day about your desire and visualize it.
4. Realign your thinking, using your willpower to get started.
5. Mentally and physically sync with whatever you desire to the point of manifestation.
6. Understand all possibilities are only limited by the thoughts in your mind.
7. Start pretending, also known as “Acting as If”.
8. Be specific: include the size, shape, color, texture and when you want your desire.
9. Use affirmations and empowering songs to change old beliefs until the new, positive ones become a habit.
10. Do no give it your attention/point of focus to any situation or experience that you don’t want. Simply put, do not entertain the thought.
11. Post pictures of your dreams, desires, and goals everywhere and visualize being in possession of them.
12. Believe, have faith, be confident, speak in the positive, and take personal responsibility.
13. Keep a journal; write specific details about your desire.
14. Model someone who has the positive traits you desire.
15. Stay focused and on point. Read, review, reprogram.
16. Start small, gain confidence in creating and manifesting.
17. Become consciously aware of you and your surroundings.
18. Believe and know that you are entitled to wealth, health, success and abundance. Expect that it will yours.
19. Acknowledge that you are a mental magnet and will attract to you everything you are thinking and feeling.
20. Enjoy every minute of the process, in the now.

Smile. It doesn’t cost you anything. And it brings joy to others. What a nice way to do things. Somehow, we get the felling that as adults, we ought to be serious. As if we owe it to the world to be glum faced. But that’s not the truth. Decide to smile at a few people today. You can start off with the ones you like. See the reaction. Your world will lighten up with fresh energy.

Like everything else health is the starting point. And don’t begin with grumbles. “Oh, I am sick. How can I do such and such a thing?” Remember the placebo effect. The mind over the body. You can master your body through your mind. Think positively. Think you are in the pink of health. You will be bubbling with energy in no time. And this will have a cascading effect on your other activities. It will vitalize charge, enthuse and elevate you to a different level of productivity.

Same goes for aging. As we grow older we start behaving like old people. Let me tell you, aging is all in the mind. Start thinking of yourself as young. Get your mind to think of youth and vitality. Get into the mood of enjoying your powerful vigor. It is all there. No need to search for it. It is within you. Remember that the universe through law of attraction is waiting to give back what you send across to it. Youth, vitality and a fulfilled life are here for you to enjoy.
